Additional info: "I grew up in Balersfield, California and attended the local
schools. My favorite part of high school was hanging out with
my friends and shopping. After high school I worked at local
gym while I attended business college. Upon completion, I
began a three-year adventure in the "insurance world" working
for a well-known insurance company. But there was still
something missing from my life. I decided to venture out of
my safe world to the wild world of Los Angeles. Little did i
know that my life would change so much in a short time. L.A.
opened up a whole world of new opportunities.
I entered into a Venus Swinsuit contest and to my suprise - I
won! This was such a new experience for me. I have always
been very self-conscious about my body and my looks. So this
was an enormous stretch for me. After the Venus Swimwear
competition, I completed in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic contest.
It was there that I met a close friend of Hugh Hefner and was
invited to Sunday's "Fun in the Sun" party at the Mansion to
meet Hef himself.
When I got home, I thought it was time to make the move and
follow my dreams. I quit my job and took a leap of faith. By
January I had moved to Santa Monica to begin my new life. My
first job was as a "Budweiser girl". Soon I found myself at
Mansion again for the Valentines Day party. It was then that
my life really changed! A dream come true was just waiting
around the corner for me. I would soon be a Playboy Playmate
- Miss September 2001. Of course my parents were surprised.
But they stood by me as they have every step of my life.
I've really enjoyed beeing a Playmate.You can imagine my
surprise when i was informed that I won an overhelming margin
for Playmate of the Year! I'm so honored that my fans
believed in me. Me - the girl next door that was afraid to
enter that first swimsuit competition am now The Playmate of
the Year! In between PMOY duties I'm taking classes designed
for hosting shows. I hope one day with some hard work and a
little luck I will land a job working for E!, The Travel
Channel or MTV. You never know!"
